Sneeze Ringtone
I made the perfect ringtone for every occasion.
The Sneeze Ringtone
Psychedelic Foosball
Dustin Boyer and I painted this foosball table and put it under RGB and ultraviolet LED clusters.
It's almost impossible to visually understand the surface of the table, as topography appears to come and go under the crossfading light.
Leunig Mural
I drew this large mural of a Michael Leunig cartoon upstairs in MITERS.
Science!
A green laser makes high-quality olive oil fluoresce red.
Regular vegetable oil fluoresces yellow.
Strobe Drumming
Tim Rades and I explored drumming under the strobe light in my bathroom.
We found that strobe-sampling makes it very easy to learn complicated drum patterns.
Also, a handful of baby powder on the drum skin forms beautiful patterns according to the vibrations.
Anything drawn in the powder beforehand quickly becomes rendered in the patterns.
tEp's Toilets
I painted a series of tEp's toilets.
"Potty Mouth" is the talking toilet.
I added a small voice recorder, some powered speakers, and a flush-triggered switch, so that anyone can record a message that will become the booming voice of the next flush.
I also placed a waterproofed strobe light in the shower of this bathroom.
You can tune the strobe to make it look as though the water's flowing backwards, up into the showerhead.
(same goes for when you're peeing into the potty mouth)
"The Royal Throne" is a play on the phrase to "go sit on the throne" as a euphemism for using the toilet.
In the "Rage" bathroom small army men wage battle over level porcelain surfaces.
The toilet lid reads "Pissed?", and the underside of the lid says "Rage against the Latrine."
The ceiling features choice reading material, such as the Nicaraguan Freedom Fighter's Manual.
Once air-dropped by the CIA over Nicaragua, it suggests that one might fight one's government by, among other things, showing up late to work.
